The summer months at Razor Global Solutions have been hectic to say the least involving an office move, expansion of services, winning exciting new consultancy contracts and local community engagement becoming a focus of our everyday business activities.
New Beginnings
As the nation reflects on the extraordinary reign of Queen Elizabeth II and looks forward to a new era with King Charles III, Razor is saying goodbye to our inaugural home in Frome, Somerset and usher in a new era in Midsomer Norton. A new, more fit for purpose office right in the heart of the community allows us to engage with small businesses, support local enterprise and raise our profile.
Local Engagement
As part of this, we have arranged our very first local business networking event which we had had an amazing response to already. Tickets on sale here! It befits the reasons why Tamsin and I set up this company 18 months ago – to give SMEs and entrepreneurs access to affordable business support with no compromise on experience or quality. In bringing together local businesses we are expanding the opportunities to collaborate and help one another to be successful.
Further encompassing our commitment to local enterprise, we have recently announced our sponsorship of grassroots football team Chilcompton Sports. We are very proud to be sponsoring the club as a whole and in particular shirt sponsorship of the under 9’s team. Keep an eye out on our social media for weekly updates on the progress of the team!
Exciting Times
Away from the local scene, we have secured some big contracts with multinational organisations for long term work. Not only does this secure the future of the business but it also goes a long way to showing me and my team that we belong in this heavily competitive consultancy arena. We are delighted that our skillset has been recognised by long established organisations and as we embark on this daunting but exciting future, we are confident that Razor Global Solutions will continue to make the right moves at the right time and keep on fulfilling our ambitions.
Expansion of Services
Talking of right moves, we have been working hard behind the scenes to update our website and give it a more professional feel and most importantly make sure it reflects our broad range of services. Our internal team have done some great work, and this includes showing off our new HR Consultancy services section. HR is one of the most important aspects of running a business and if you don’t look after your staff then they can’t look after the needs of your business, so it pays to give it the attention it deserves. With masses of experience in this sector it is only right that Razor should offer these services to businesses small and large.
Old Friends
September has seen a familiar face join Razor with Dan ‘of all trades’ Jupe joining us from a well-known German engineering company. Dan worked for a number of years with the management team at another organisation and we are delighted that when we approached him to join the Razor family that he didn’t hesitate for a second. The fact that Dan was happy to leave a nice comfortable secure role with said engineering firm and ‘take a chance’ on Razor is a testament to the environment that we have built here and how hard we work to forge amazing relationships with our colleagues.
We are going places and I’m thrilled Dan wants to be part of the journey.
Going Forward
Over the next few months, I am excited to see how the Razor landscapes develops with our new exciting opportunities, new services and brand-new home in Midsomer Norton. As ever, it’s an exciting time for Razor Global Solutions and we continue to support businesses small and large, offer an amazing inclusive place to work and grow with each and every passing day.
